Complete 1954 Corvette Project. Two owner car. Car was disassembled buy the second owner in 1972 for restoration and never completed. Has not been seen by anyone but the owner in over 35 years. Has always been stored in dry storage. This Corvette has the rare Chrome valve cover and radiator surge tank, heater and window washer option. Included is much paper work including the Notorized Bill of Sale from the first owner in the amount of $1,600. Many receipts included showing NOS parts were used in the beginning of the restoration. They were still avaliable in the 70's. NOTE! 1954 radio is included but may not be a correct Corvette part. This car has a mint frame and has never had any repairs other than the rear crossmember was replaced with an NOS part. I believe it still has the GM tag on it. This car is for sale to the highest bidder or will listen to a trade on one of the following vehicles. NOTE!! The first picture shows the original owner and second owner on the day of purchase in 1972 in Seabrook NH . On Nov-24-08 at 17:38:01 PST, seller added the following information:Have had several people ask what is missing. To the best of my knowledge it is all here. If something is missing it is an oversight and I want it to be clear that this project car is being sold as is where is with no guarantees. Every part that I have for this car is included in this auction including any paper work relating to the history of this car. This is an extremely rare 50 year old true American sports car that has been in storage for years. I am not a Corvette expert and dont claim to know it all. If you do not agree to these terms please do not bid. I would be glad to discuss this car at length with anyone. If I dont know the answer I will find out. If you want a picture of any particular area I would be glad to forward them to you. Thanks for your understanding. On Nov-26-08 at 18:21:21 PST, seller added the following information:Note!! The convertible top with complete frame is not pictured but is included in this auction. The frame is in excellent condition. The top is the original, I believe, but cant be sure. Send an e-mail for a picture of the top or any other item in question. Thanks On Nov-30-08 at 18:58:42 PST, seller added the following information:Note !! Original Vin tag is on this numbers matching car. You have seen these cars for sale from time to time but never do you see them with all original parts. Dont let this extremely rare car be the one that you wish you would have bought when see at the Barrett Jackson Auction in 2010 selling for 4 million dollars. Not many were made and very few remain that are avaliable for sale to the general public. Most that do survive are locked away in someones collection or in a museum in a foriegn county. You will be making a very secure investment in a real American Classic. These were the original American sports car. These cars and other American icons like it are what made our Great County what it is today. Corvette, You have always wanted one, now is the time to realize your dream.
