Description
1966 GT 350 Replica Mustang FastbackUp for auction is my 1966 Ford Mustang GT 350 Replica. The car has been restored twice, once in 1980 and again a complete restoration in 1990-1994, a 4 year project. The paint and body are perfect and rust free. The interior is correct and I would rate the car as a 2+. The cost in 1994, to restore this car was 27K. I have owned the car for the past 5 years and have completely replaced the drivetrain. It now runs a 331 Stroker with heavy duty clutch and scatter shield. The rear is a shortened 9 inch with posi. It has under bars and sway bars. It looks exactly as it should with all the proper shelby equip. The only exception is the car runs a 65 shelby exhaust system because I like the look better as it vents in front of the rear wheels. The origional numbered engine comes with the car in addition. . If you want to know more, the gear ratios, building process, what was used where and why, there is just too much to list in this ad, so please call me to talk about the car. A complete build book comes with the car showing all stages of restoration and assembly, in photos as well as invoices for all of the materials and parts that were included in the car. This car has never been raced or autocross or abused and is currently insured for $50.000 I am 64 years old and have trailered it to auto shows and cruise shows.
