Description
This is a mitsubishi 3000 Gt SL. I have had the car about 2 1/2 years and now it is about time to get rid of it. I am growing up and i am trying to get a truck. This was a second car for me to drive around. My dad bought this car from his good friend and did alot of work on the car when he had it. He passed away about 2 years ago and the car was passed down to me. When i got the car it sat for about a year, then one day i decided to drive the car and it acted like it would only go into third gear. I bought a new transmission filter and transmission oil that i will give the buyer. I know the transmission worked before the car sat for a year so all it might need is some trans x which i also have. This is what a guy told me that knows alot about these cars. The body on the car is in great shape for the year model. This is everything that i can tell you about the car for the bad. Driver side mirror cracked. Driver and passenger seats ripped. The carpet needs cleaning. The windshild is cracked, but not to bad. Front two tires are in excellent shape but the back to are about 50%. It might need new trim on the outside window seal. I have not seen anouther 92 that dont need this. Very common. It has aftermarket fog lights that work but need to be hooked up. Under neeth side window, the facing is cracked which i took a pic of. The door lock on the passenger door is missing. The car will lock and unlock from the driverside. Passenger door works fine but just missing little round lock. Which it is not noticed at all unless specified. The speakers are brand new in the front but in the back im sure they need to be replaced. The car has been repainted but it needs to be buffed. It still has its little dings but what car of this age doesn't.I know this sounds like alot but all this is minor. I replaced the motor at 1000 miles ago. The Motor in the car has actually 118K on it. I was changing the sparkpluges one day and dropped a washer in cylinder #1 and now it has a worped valve, all the other valves are fine, but i have the old motor that i will give you for free charge. The old motor is no good but it will be very useful when needing parts. I have all the parts to the old motor. IT goes to the auction winner. The worped valve is not a problem at all. Since i have good valves in the old motor it will be very cheap to fix that problem. The rest of the motor in the car runs perfect. I drove the car numerous times after i did the motor swap and it sounds and idles perfect. The motor has brand new platinum sparkplugs. when i crank the car now you can hear the worped valve but the motor runs fine. i took a picture of the car idleing perfect. You can drive the car right now but again it will only go in to third gear. I think it is stuck. Trans x will probally fix that problem. For the good. Everything on the car works. Tour and sport mode works fine. Both windows roll up and down fin with no problem. Interior light works fine. Door lights work fine. Now it has a custom sunroof which will need a little work. My uncle put it in but it might not meet up to your standards. It leeks only on some days. But it is not bad at all. Over all the car is in really geat shape for its age. It is a very nice car and i would love to keep it but i want to get a truck now. The worped valve and the transmission fixed and i would not be afraid to drive across country right now. I can drive the car right now where ever i want to go but it sticks in third gear. If you are worried about getting parts for this car dont be because i know a guy who is unlimited in all parts for this car. This car will be able to be road worthy for a long time to come. Again the car WILL drive right now. Sorry for the car being dirty in the pictures but i did not have time to clean neither the inside or outside of the car. It cleans up real nice and the black looks real good on the car. oh and the back tail light on passenger side has a tiny crack on it bit doen not lat watter in at all.
